Frisco Senior Pictures - Braving the Wind!

Meet Ashley - a senior at Lovejoy High School.  In one word: ADORABLE!  She is the sweetest, most bubbly girl!  As the session went on, her cute personality came out more and more.  And when she smiles, her entire face just radiates!  We braved the craziest winds.  I almost called it quits, but we stuck it out a bit longer and made it through with some really fun pictures.  Thanks Ashley for a great session.  Enjoy the remaining days of your senior year!

Downtown McKinney Senior Pictures - A Liberty High School Senior

Meet Cale - Class of 2011 from Liberty High School.  I love doing senior pictures for students that attend Liberty as that is where my boys would have attended had we not moved to McKinney.  Great school!  Cale met me downtown for pictures last week.  What a great guy and a great mom!  Mom let him pick out what he wanted to wear and let him do his own thing with his pictures.  You gotta love a mom that is secure enough to trust her kid's senior pictures into their hands! We had a good time and got some really fun and cool pictures.  I picked more than I normally do for a sneak peek - but I just couldn't narrow down my favorites!

Downtown McKinney Senior Pictures - Cute and Stylin'!

I met Natalie in Downtown McKinney last week for her senior pictures.  She was a photographer's dream come true.  Not only is she beautiful, she opened up the hatch of the SUV and it was FILLED with clothes, jewelry and shoes!  I swear I heard the angels singing.  She had more cute outfits than I knew what to do with!  Here are some of my favorites from the afternoon...

Did I mention she was tons of fun?

I loved this picture from the wheat field in her Prom dress and Prom Queen crown!  I goes with the picture I posted last week on the blog.  Don't forget to check out it out if you didn't see it.

Thanks Natalie for such a fun session. Enjoy the last few weeks of your senior year!

Windy Windy Windy - But still BEAUTIFUL (McKinney Senior Photographer}

Wind wind wind....this session was all about the wind.  I didn't think we would get any photos of Meagan in the Bluebonnets.  We did get a few once she put her hat on.  We gave up on the flowers and went over to the barn and that is when magic happened.  Meagan is a sophmore this year...I can't imagine how beautiful her senior portraits will be!  Here are a few of my favorites from the afternoon....

Yes...a guy can look cool in the Bluebonnets! {McKinney Child Photographer}

So my boys think Bluebonnet pictures are really uncool.  I can't wait to show them this picture.  Chris was laid back and cool about having his picture done in the wildflowers.  Of course...look at the 2nd picture.  He knew the total guy factor picture was about to take place next!

An Evening in the Texas Bluebonnets {McKinney Family Photographer}

I was not so sure how this session would go.  We were not able to work it out for the H. Family to do sessions on the ranch I used this year for Bluebonnet pictures.  Mom promised me the flowers were awesome at this location.  I just was not convinced.  Last year I had used this location and was really unhappy with the pictures.  Well I have never been happier to be wrong.  Mom had found a slightly different location than I used last year and mixed in the Bluebonnets were tons of gorgeous red Poppies.  HEAVEN!!!!  I have loved editing these photos.  Such cute little kiddos and such a beautiful setting.  Thanks Mom H. for insisting on this location - I will trust you in the future :-)

Now...for some of my favorites from the evening....

The Coolest Senior Picture Ever! {McKinney Senior Photographer}

I have had this picture in mind forever for a senior picture.  I have just been waiting to actually find a wheat field without a fence around it and no "no trespassing" signs.  I found it and asked Natalie if we could use it for her pictures.  She has to be the coolest senior EVER as she was willing to do the picture in her prom dress.  AND to make it even better, Natalie was just crowned Prom Queen for Lovejoy High School on Saturday night.  I couldn't have planned the picture more perfectly.  More from Natalie's session later...but I just had to share this one now!

Downtown McKinney - Model for a Day! {McKinney Child Photographer}

Meet Miss G.  One word for her: giggles!  She has to be one of the easiest children I have ever photographed.  She posed for me and giggled.  She changed outfits and giggled.  She spun in circles for me and giggled.  What an amazingly happy little girl.  Here are a few of my favorites from her session in downtown McKinney last week...

Dowtown McKinney - Year After "Engagement" Pictures

I have tried to blog about this couple for over a week.  For some reason, my blog would not accept their photos.  I have never had that happen and it was totally frustrating.  But today...POOF...magically it decided their photos were acceptable and ready to be loaded.  Technology drives me crazy sometimes.

Anyway...we had a great time in downtown McKinney a few weeks ago.  They have been married about a year but never had engagement photos done before the wedding. The wind was killing us, but we were able to grab shots between puffs.  Here are some of my favorites from the day...

I love their expressions in this picture...

Texas Country Bluebonnets {McKinney Photographer}

Love...love...love...these kids!  Some kids are just naturally sweet, they love each other, and they will actually touch each other without making a face (unlike my own children, but that is another story).  These two sweet children were just a joy to be around.  I had so much fun editing their pictures, that I played around with finishes more than normal - much of which you are about to see.   Just precious....

This was the first image of the day and it is my favorite. Not so many bluebonnets, but I love the barn in the background and I love their expressions.  I couldn't decide which version I liked, so I am posting both - regular and a little vintage.

Downtown McKinney Senior Pictures - A Laid Back Afternoon!

Meet John - a senior at John Paul High School in Plano.  We met in downtown McKinney a couple of weeks ago for his senior pictures.  Laid back is my best description for John.  He was willing to do anything I asked and has a smile that has got to make the girls swoon (although I think I chose all the serious ones for this post - will have to do another post when I finish processing with one of his smiles)!  We had a great time incorporating all of his hobbies from guitar to baseball.  Thanks John for a fun afternoon - can't wait to show you the rest of your pictures!
