Class of 2018 Senior Model Shoot - 1950's Retro!

I admit it!  I am over a year behind in posting on my blog.  But I am determined to catch up - and I wanted to start with our Class of 2018 Senior Model Session!

I had so much fun planning for this session and I are so excited about our Class of 2018 Senior Models!

We rented "Dolly" a 1951 Chevy Deluxe for the afternoon from DFW Vintage Cars. The mother of one of the models just happens to collect vintage clothing  and we ran to downtown McKinney to purchase a few vintage hats. I grabbed some 1950's jewelry from my mother's jewelry stash (yes...she had saved it) and borrowed some vintage glasses from another model's mom and we were ready to go! At the last minute I pulled out my red couch to add a little bit of " The Real Housewives of 1950's Dallas" to the mix.  I chose an indoor location at the McKinney Cotton Mill (where my studio is located) so that we didn't have to worry about rain or glare on the car.  I love the industrial grunge vibe it added to the images!

The theme of the model session was 1950's glam mixed in with a whole lot of fun!

Here is what we ended up with...

Ok....before you get too concerned...the martini glasses were filled with M&Ms.  Glam meets fun!

And without further adieu, I give you the Class of 2018 AimeeLouise Photography senior models:

Andreana - Frisco Centennial High School

Annie - Lovejoy High School

Ashlynn - Allen High School

Faith - Cornerstone Christian Academy

Meredith - Lovejoy High School

Prestynn - Anna High School

Raegan - Lovejoy High School

And there you have it!  One of my favorite model shoots ever!  These girls rocked it!!!!

Class of 2016 Custom Graduation Announcements

Another one of my favorite days is when I get to share the graduation announcements that we provided this year.  Gone are the days of the traditional school announcement with a wallet picture.  The hip and cool graduation announcements are custom designed.  We have two types of announcements at AimeeLouise Photography for our seniors to choose from.  For the budget conscious family, we have pre-designed semi-customizable templates which we can drop your images into, and customize the colors and text to match your images.  For those who want to make sure that no one has an announcement like yours, we also offer custom designed announcements - guaranteed that not a single senior will have an announcement just like yours.

These announcements are a combination of custom and semi-custom designs for the Class of 2016!

Class of 2016 Senior Tribute Pages

This is one of my favorite days every year: the day I get to reveal the Senior Yearbook Tribute Pages I created for the previous year's seniors!  I create them in the fall and then have to wait almost a year to reveal them.  Not every school allows for a custom page, but we provide them as part of our senior session fee for all of our seniors for the schools that accept them and the parents that request them.

So...without further adieu, here are the tribute pages for the Class of 2016

Senior Spotlight: Zane - Class of 2016

I met Zane for his senior portraits back in February.  It may have been brown and dreary, but we used that to our advantage to take some fabulous and unique images for him.  Zane is an amazing guy with a great future in front of him.  He already owns his own business in website design - and could probably teach me a thing or two about post production!  He had some great ideas for his session which we incorporated to give him a story just his own.  Here are a few of my favorite images from Zane's session.

Senior Spotlight: Makenzie - McKinney North High School Class of 2016

I love it when siblings of past seniors come to me for their senior pictures.  I love to hear what their siblings are up to, and discover the unique personality of each one.  I took Makenzie's sister's pictures back in 2012 and loved collaborating with her for her own unique session.  Makenzie had her pictures done in January - and it was so fun incorporating the winter elements into her pictures.  Makenzie is a runner, and part of the EMT program through McKinney ISD.  She is not only beautiful, she has a great future in front of her.  Here are a few of my favorite images from Makenzie's session:
