I love these boys! I met them last December (remember the picture in the wagon with the dog?) and just fell in love with them. They came in for their birthday session last week. We had some somber moments and some smiles. I love this precious picture of them. Hugs!

Beautiful Sisters {McKinney, Allen Family Photography}
Tamara and I had so much fun with these sisters last night. We did a family session and their dad just made us laugh so hard. While we were doing some images of just the girls, dad went exploring in the woods down a nature trail I would never go down alone and lo and behold, he found this amazing location. So serene...so beautiful...and should I mention on top of a 30 foot dam that would be a long and disastrous fall if we accidentally slipped.....
I knew you in your mother's womb....{McKinney Infant Photography}
This precious three month old came to see me today. Her mother's story reduced Suzanne (my office manager) and I to tears. She is a precious adopted little girl whose birth mother was 17 and on her third child. This precious 17 year old child had the foresight to realize she couldn't raise this little girl and give her the life she deserves so she generously gave her up to two precious parents who desired a child with all of their hearts. God is so faithful - this little girl just melted my heart today.
Sweet Newborn Pretty in Pink {McKinney Newborn Photography}
So I am about to overwhelm you with blog posts, but I need to get caught up before we leave for a cruise tomorrow. YEA!
This sweet newborn came to see me yesterday morning. Just let me tell you...her mom is in for it. She did NOT want her hands or feet touched or moved. She could be in a deep sleep and the minute I tried to move her hands she would react. Let's not even talk about her head. It totally cracked me up. Here is one precious image from the session.

Anticipatating the Wedding!!! {McKinney Wedding Photographer}
The wedding is in September - can't wait! This couple is so fun and sweet and gorgeous together. We had a great time at the engagement session. It is amazing to me how they can look so fresh when it was so hot :-)

Our New Puppy! {McKinney Pet Photography}
Meet Gibson - the newest member of our family. He is 4 months old and a little toot - and we LOVE him with all of our hearts! I can't believe he actually sat still long enough for me to capture these moments. I think he was ready for a nap :-)
We adopted him from the Frisco, Texas Animal Rescue. This is a class organization. We had to fill out an application, wait to be chosen and approved from other families interested in adopting him, and then we had to pass a home inspection. While many may scoff at this, I think it is great. They want to make sure their rescue pets get a forever home.
Gibson certainly has a forever home with us. And not just us, our entire neighborhood. He has won the hearts of our neighbors AND their dogs. Sandy, the Golden Retriever down the street had taken Gibson in like her own puppy. She is 20 times his size, but runs to greet him, lays down in the grass, and lets him jump on her. Sometime I really need to capture a picture of that.
So here is Gibson - the first of probably many self indulgent posts about our new baby!
