Class of 2016 Custom Graduation Announcements

Another one of my favorite days is when I get to share the graduation announcements that we provided this year.  Gone are the days of the traditional school announcement with a wallet picture.  The hip and cool graduation announcements are custom designed.  We have two types of announcements at AimeeLouise Photography for our seniors to choose from.  For the budget conscious family, we have pre-designed semi-customizable templates which we can drop your images into, and customize the colors and text to match your images.  For those who want to make sure that no one has an announcement like yours, we also offer custom designed announcements - guaranteed that not a single senior will have an announcement just like yours.

These announcements are a combination of custom and semi-custom designs for the Class of 2016!

Class of 2016 Senior Tribute Pages

This is one of my favorite days every year: the day I get to reveal the Senior Yearbook Tribute Pages I created for the previous year's seniors!  I create them in the fall and then have to wait almost a year to reveal them.  Not every school allows for a custom page, but we provide them as part of our senior session fee for all of our seniors for the schools that accept them and the parents that request them.

So...without further adieu, here are the tribute pages for the Class of 2016

Orange is the New Yellow

Ok, so that title didn't make a ton of sense, but just as we saw yellow as a color pop all winter, orange is the color pop for spring.  Now...you will see head to toe orange in the fashion magazines and on the runways, but honestly, for pictures you might want to stay away from a full color wash.  You don't want to look back on your pictures and remind yourself of a walking piece of fruit.  With that in mind, there are some fun ways to incorporate orange into your senior pictures that won't leave you with that hungry feeling later....

Love the look of this constructed orange blazer combined with the unstructured, ripped jeans. I agree with the very neutral shirt and sandals.  This makes the orange pop without taking over.

For a similar but "opposite" look, cover a bright orange shirt or sweater with a black jacket and jeans.  Personally I love the black leather skinny pants.  They make this look.  But if the thought of skinny leather causes you to need to pop some valium, grab some black jeans instead.  Either way, the orange makes a statement without taking over.

Orange Peel

Orange is always great when used in your accessories.  I particularly like it with black and white.  Just go with a deeper shade of orange so that you don't look like a bee - and make sure to include plenty of white so you don't look like you are trying on a costume for your next Halloween party :-)

black and white, orange, love it :)

Orange with Royal Blue is a fabulous combination - but be sure to keep the orange in the accessories and just very small punches of color.  Too much orange with bright blue will require your friends to pull out the sunglass to spare their eyes.  Add just a punch and you can really make a statement.

Lovely Orange Tote

So if you really, really, really want to go head to toe orange, then do yourself a HUGE favor.  Go for a very light, almost pastel shade of orange.  Choose an unstructured dress that flows when you move, and go for very neutral shoes and accessories.  You can achieve a romantic look that doesn't send your boyfriend to the salad bar after your date....

If you love the color orange and have an idea for an outfit, send it to me.  I would love to help you style it for your senior pictures!

Until next time,
