Fun Fun Fun Downtown McKinney Senior Pictures! {McKinney Photographer}

In my crazy, out of control life, full of the busyness of sports, and school, and photography, and...and...and...sometimes you just need to laugh.  I did Tanner's session last month (and completely forgot to ever post these pictures!).  He just really made me laugh. I love it when an 18 year old is so confident in himself that he can just have fun and not worry about what others think. Tanner has a great future ahead of him, I can tell!  Here are two of my favorites.  To see more from Tanner's session, visit my facebook page.

Look out...Tanner is breaking out of jail!

Boy Meets Girl {McKinney Children's Photographer}

So I really don't like doing repeats from my Facebook page to my blog, but I had to post this one to both. Scenario - boy meets girl in kindergarten. Boy and girl just always really love each other. Both families happened to be doing Bluebonnet sessions one right after the other. Between session, girl's dad points out to me they are holding hands. Idea sparks in my brain. I called boy over and casually mentioned that girls really like wildflowers and look at all the wildflowers around. Boy picks flower and joyfully gives to girl. And I do mean joyfully! Photographer captures every moment. Here is one of my favorites....

Rodrigo and Chasidy {McKinney Couples Photographer}

I don't think I have ever had to reschedule a session before as many times as I did this one.  Wind...sunburn....wind...wind.... Did I say wind?  Every time we had the session scheduled, the wind was something like 30-40 MPH.  We FINALLY got a break and scheduled their session last Saturday.  They have been married since September but never had engagement portraits done.  So we did "after the marriage engagement portraits" or something like that.  Anyway, we had tons of fun.  They are so cute together and just a great couple.  Here is one of my favorites from the session.  I will post more next week....

John's Sneak Peek {McKinney Senior Photographer}

I had such a fun weekend full of sessions.  Here is a sneak peek from John's Session.  John is a senior at John Paul High School in Plano.  He was a great guy - willing to do anything I asked.  When he pulled out the guitar, I knew we could get some really cool artistic shots.  This was one of my favs from the afternoon.  More from his session next week....

Spring is Here {McKinney Senior Photographer}

Spring is here and with it the beautiful greens and reds, and yellows that make photographs come alive.  Do you remember being a kid and loving to blow the dandilions?  What a wonderful moment to capture.  Fortunately Courtney was willing to give it a go for me at her senior session.  I will post more from her session early next week, but this image just caught my eye and my imagination.  Don't you wonder what she is wishing for?

Funky Senior Art

I love to do fun things with the senior pictures.  It is a rare mom that asks me to do an edgy version of her son's pictures.  This mom did and I love how this turned out....

Now...hopefully this week I will be able to start blogging my sessions so far this year.  I feel like I am so boring when it comes to my blog, but I never seem to have the time to post to it.  I know...I know...I should take the time.  That is the goal for April!

I had a great senior session this morning in the bluebonnets and another one this evening.  Love the seniors!

Most Fabulous Kid Contest

Announcing the 1st Annual AimeeLouise Photography
MOST FABULOUS KID contest.

Winner receives:
  • 60 minute complimentary session with me in McKinney, Plano, or Frisco
  • 2 digital images of your choice from your session.
  • One image from the completed session will be featured in my monthly ad in Living Magazine!
Session must be completed by August 30, 2011

So how do you enter?

  • Beginning today through Wednesday, February 23*, simply e-mail your favorite picture of your child or children to awoolverton@tx.rr.com.
  • If you choose to enter all of your children, you may enter one picture with all of them, or one picture of each of them.
  • Children must be between the ages of birth to 14.

I will collect the pictures and post them in a special gallery on my Facebook page. The pictures will be in the gallery for one week - February 24- March 2.

Pictures will have a number assigned to them to protect the anonymity of the children. Do not worry, their names WILL NOT be on my Facebook gallery.

Once the pictures are posted, simply contact your friends and simply ask them to "like" your picture. You could post it on your Facebook status and ask everyone to go and vote.

At the end of the week, the picture with the most "likes" wins. How easy is that?!

As a special surprise addition, I am "sweetening the pot" for you.  For every 25 "likes" on your child's picture, you will receive a $10 print credit with AimeeLouise Photography.  So, even if you do not win the contest, you will have a print credit ready and waiting for you if you decide to do a session with me!  Some of you have enough friends that you could walk away with a huge wall portrait for the cost of the session!**

(If you do not live in the Dallas area, you can still enter. If you think you will be coming to the area any time this year, contact me personally and we can work something out if you win)

Haven't "liked" my Facebook page yet?  Click here to join in on all of the fun!

*Date has been extended from original post in my newsletter because I neglected to announce it on my blog.
