"Let It Go" - The Three Year Old Version {McKinney Children's Photography}

When a mom of a three year old books a session with us, we never know how the session will go.  As any parent can tell you, a three year old can be joyful and full of life, or they can be grumpy and difficult.  It really doesn't depend on parenting - such is just life with a three year old.

When this little sweety came in the door, she gave me a huge smile and a big hug.  I knew it would be a great day.  She just oozed charm.  Halfway through the session, she started singing the currently popular song "Let It Go".  You really have to see this....

Children's Easter Sessions {McKInney, Allen Children's Photographer}

I had fun this weekend photographing some Easter Mini Sessions.  I have never tried the current trend of the solid color wall in the background and wanted to do something different.  I loved how they turned out.  Such precious girls.

My personal favorites are the more traditional shots at the end.  Current photography trends tend to shy away from the traditional portrait, but my goodness, if done well they can be so beautiful.  I would want a 16x20 of one of the traditional ones on my wall...if she were my daughter that is....

Halloween Family Fun {McKinney Family Photography}

I love this totally FUN family that dressed up as Alice in Wonderland for Halloween.  They wanted to do something different this year for family pictures and Christmas cards and asked me to do their pictures in costume.  I just HAPPENED to pick up my "new" vintage chaise lounge yesterday and knew it would be PERFECT for their picture.  Add a sunset in the fields and this picture rocks!  I added the strange color tones per Johnny Depp's request ;-)
