Getting Started

Welcome to my blog for AimeeLouise Photography! I must admit I am new the world of blogging and have just a bit of trepidation about the prospect. I thought I would start by sharing some of my favorite photos from a recent session with an amazing, fun, and really loving family (who also happen to be my neighbors). It helped that the camera just loved them - I don't think they took a bad picture. My favorites are the "outtakes...taken when they didn't know the camera was on them.

Boys just can't help but do "stuff" when they get a moment. I gave the kids a chance to check out the creek and the next thing we knew....

Mom wanted to see the kids on this really neat large rock over the creek. The kids were tired by this time and ready to explore on their own, so we brought dad in to get some smiles. I have no idea what he was doing behind my back...and I probably don't want to know.


We got one last moment with mother and daughter at the end of the session. Mom wanted that special picture before her daughter grew up too much and would no longer snug with her. I think these were my favorite pictures of the session. There was so much peace, trust, and love between them. The tenderness in this image really moves me.
