Double Trouble {McKinney Child Photography}

Mr. W and Mr. J turned ONE last week.  Getting pictures of them was like herding cattle.  I am not sure I ever got both of them looking at me and smiling.  But they were so stinkin' cute and we got some adorable images.....

This series of images just cracked me up. I put way more previews than I normally do, but I just couldn't go without sharing them. So hilarious.  I guess someone had to come out on top!

Blair - Allen High School Class of 2012 {Allen Senior Photography}

As promised...I am finally posting the sneak peek from Blair's senior session a couple of weeks ago.  We met at the park in McKinney as she wanted a more natural look to her senior photos.  What was supposed to be a one hour session quickly turned into a two hour session as we were having so much fun!  Blair is such a sweet girl with a fun personality and a beautiful smile!  Enjoy the sneak peek....

Sunrise in Adriatica {Plano, McKinney Senior Photograpy}

Love this sneak peek from my Saturday morning senior session.  It is just one of many beautiful images of this Prestonwood Christian Academy Senior.  Can't wait to share the rest....

Wow!  I am so far behind in processing sessions that I am starting to panic.  However, I had to test out a new wall and floor in my studio for a makeover shot in a local magazine.  My kids NEVER EVER pose for me anymore - they are way too busy and cool for that.  But...for some reason, they chose to pose for me last night.  I had to process a couple of pictures as examples for the magazine, so here they are.  I have so many more to process of my incredible kids who finally posed willingly...but they must wait until I have finished the sneak peeks for my amazingly patient clients.  In the meantime...here are two of my wonderful children who I love with all of my heart!

I wasn't going to do this but a few words about each of my children (it is wonderful to have your own blog...)

This is my "N" man.  He is HILARIOUS with a capital "H".  There isn't a serious bone in his body and I am loving watching him grow up.  He is at the age now where he wants to be cool, so he had to pose "cool" for the picture.  Just know that he erupted into giggles 2 seconds after the shutter clicked.  But he LOVES this picture as it captures what he wanted to.  And I love it because of his little precious heart.

This is my witty and brilliant older son "S" man. He continually amazes me with his brilliant mind. At the same time, he is all boy and doesn't want to take the time to finish anything. He is one that will rule the world someday. For example, he came home from junior high football practice with his uniform today. It was too small. As I was calling the coaches to get a larger size, he had already gone on line, found the manufacturer (from the tag in the shirt) and determined the size he needed based on their website. Really?

I am 43 (...shhhh...) and I turn to my 11 year old to help me with technology that I don't understand. As he becomes a pre-teen I am having to re-acquaint myself with him as I don't really know him anymore. They change overnight at this phase in life. But I really enjoy getting to know him and I can't wait to see what God has planned for him!

Thanks for letting me take the time to show off my own children.  They are both miracles of God.  The first one was long awaited and many tears shed while we waited for him.  The second one came in one try and surprised us as we were prepared for another long haul.  I believe they were both called by God to walk this earth as he has great and mighty things for them.  My husband and I believe they are both destined by the Lord to do amazing things in His kingdom.  We are humbly teaching them who God is and who they are in Him.  What a huge responsibility and great honor.

Next post...a precious senior who has been waiting for her sneak peek patiently.  Get ready...she is beautiful!

Josse - McKinney Christian Academy - Class of 2012 - Downtown McKinney Senior Photography

I met Josse in Downtown McKinney a couple of weeks ago for her senior pictures.  She actually started her senior year at McKinney Christian Academy today!  What great timing to post her sneak peek.  Josse is a precious girl - just a joy to be around.  I had a great time with her capturing some fun images.  She has a great mix of casual style and beauty.  Great session!

Frisco Senior Pictures - Class of 2012

I met Matt in Frisco a couple of weeks ago for his senior pictures.  He is a senior this year at McKinney Christian Academy. We had to get them in quickly as football two-a-days were about to start.  I just love Matt!  He is fun, laid back, and willing to try anything.  You just have to appreciate that with a senior guy as they are usually only taking their pictures to humor mom.  We got some great shots.  The last one on the train was hard to get as the sun was just coming up too high, but I think we did pretty good and it was a fun shot! Good luck this year Matt - and Go MUSTANGS!

I couldn't decide which version of this next picture I liked better, so I am showing them both.

Fall Family Picture Mini Sessions {McKinney, Frisco Family Photography}

Believe it or not, it is time to think about Fall Family Pictures.  Last year my fall was completely booked by September.  I am cutting my available sessions by over half this year so that I can enjoy my family.  Feel free to get in on the mini sessions or schedule a full session with me for September through December.  As always, you can check my website for details on the sessions and pricing or feel free to send me an e-mail!

Allen High School Senior - Class of 2012

I had such a fun time with Alex last week for her senior session.  She is a wonderful girl with a fabulous sense of style.  She even let me put some hats on her - which turned out adorable!  We spent time at a local McKinney park and then headed downtown.  She was a trooper in the morning heat and humidity and her pictures turned out almost as stunning as she is!

A Hot Day in Downtown McKinney {McKinney Senior Photography}

Kayli is a fun, bubbly, and gorgeous senior at McKinney Christian Academy.  I had the hardest time narrowing down her pictures for the sneak peek.  She has the greatest sense of style and I caught so many different expressions that it was hard to choose.  And...considering it was 108 degrees outside, it is really amazing how great she did.  I never heard a complaint.  I hope you enjoy your pictures Kayli - I really enjoyed our session!

I met Matt in Frisco last week for his senior pictures.  He got up at the crack of dawn so we could beat the heat.  Here is one image from his session.  More later this week....
